Our natural Inkster ink absorbs into the first layer of skin and reacts with natural compounds in your skin and the air, turning it black or blue. Of course, it all depends on the individual characteristics of your skin.
Traditional tattoos remain visible for life because they are inked into the second layer of skin. Inkster tattoos, on the other hand, do not require a needle and slowly disappear after 1-2 weeks through the natural regeneration of the first layer of skin.
Your Inkster Tattoo will slowly fade after 1-2 weeks with the natural regeneration of the first layer of skin.
The following factors favor the duration of your tattoo:
✅ A warm shower a few hours after application and / or sweating to stimulate the skin.
✅ A place on the body that is exposed to little friction and water. Do not touch your tattoo for the first few hours after application.
✅ Daily application of moisturizer to the tattoo.
✅ Good skin genetics.

There are only a few providers of 2 week tattoos. We are the only brand in the world that has EU cosmetics certification for their tattoos. While other suppliers use chemically produced dyes but advertise their ink as "fruit ink", we transparently show all our ingredients. Here (below) you will find all our ingredients. Feel free to form your own opinion. 🤗
Inkster is not henna. Natural henna turns the skin brown. Black henna usually contains toxic chemicals like PPD or is colored black with other chemical additives. Inkster is kind to the skin, tested and certified in Germany. It turns the skin black-blue.

Yes, the tattoos are waterproof. You can swim, have a sauna and sweat. 💦 However, if you swim, your tattoo will fade faster. If you take a sauna and sweat, it gets even darker.
After applying the tattoo and washing off the ink/residue, nothing is visible at first, but as the ink reacts with the skin, the skin will turn black-blue within 24-36 hours. First it is light blue, later it gets darker and darker - no matter what skin color you have. 🙃
At Inkster, we strive from the start to be as eco-friendly as possible. We are proud to say that every order is shipped without plastic boxes. There is no unnecessary instruction booklet, the instructions are available via a QR code.

Safety & Ingredients

Our Inkster ink & tattoos have a shelf life of up to 12 months and must be stored in a cool, dry place. The ink is non-toxic. We recommend using the tattoos as soon as possible for best results.
We don't like chemicals, our ink is plant-based and made with safe ingredients to protect your skin. Our product is a safe cosmetic product developed according to the European Cosmetics Regulation and tested and certified in Germany. 🔖
When it comes to our ingredients we want to be completely transparent: Our ink consists of the following ingredients:
🍈 Genipa Americana extract
This plant extract comes from the South American rainforest. It has been used there for centuries and knowledge of it has been passed down from generation to generation. It gives your skin the black-blue color.
💧 Water
Water probably needs no explanation. It makes the color smoother.
🍊 Orange Oil (Limonene, Linalool, Parfum, Citral)
Orange oil has also been used in medicine and natural cosmetics for centuries. It has anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties and has a fresh scent.
🍋 Citric acid
Citric acid is one of the so-called fruit acids and occurs naturally in citrus fruits. With citric acid we can adjust our pH value perfectly. But doesn't it cause irritation? No, because we only need to use a tiny amount of this ingredient.
🍸 Alcohol
Alcohol has a bad reputation. But don't worry, since we only use it in small amounts, it's safe for the skin. In fact, it serves as a preservative and has a bactericidal effect. So it protects against contamination.
🌬 Vegan Xanthan Gum
Xanthan gum is used to give body and thickening to cosmetic products and is very kind to the skin. It has a moisture-binding and non-irritating effect.
Our New Technology Tattoos consist of the following ingredients:
Polyethylacrylate, Genipa Americana Fruit Extract, Sucrose Acetate Isobutyrate, Dipropylene Glycol Dibenzoate, Polyvinyl Butyral, Cellulose Acetate Butyrate
